Noise Surveys
Why conduct a noise survey?
The Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005
Legislation sets out specific levels of noise that employees can be exposed to in the workplace, and exceeding these levels increases the risk of permanent hearing damage.
It’s not enough to simply issue ear defenders; noise levels first have to be assessed and appropriate measures introduced to reduce personal exposure.
HowesSafe have the experience and competency to carry out your workplace noise survey using high-spec data logging equipment that is regularly subjected to laboratory calibration.
Depending on the area to be assessed, surveys can take from just a couple of hours to a whole day, but once complete you will receive a full report outlining the findings, providing suggestions for noise reduction, and recommendations for any hearing protection deemed necessary.
Prices start from £750 and include the technical survey, submission of a full report, and a follow-up meeting to discuss the recommendations.
